Ted McNamara, Senior Executive Director

Ted McNamara is the Senior Executive Director, Capital Markets at NorthStar Clean Energy, where he currently leads NorthStar’s structured finance, capital markets and transactions functions.

Ted has more than 25 years of energy and infrastructure experience. Prior to joining NorthStar, he held senior leadership positions within several energy and infrastructure companies, including Veolia, SunDurance Energy, American Water, NRG Energy and Calpine Corp. In these positions, Ted developed, negotiated, structured and financed conventional and renewable energy projects and acquisitions, district energy concessions, waste-to-energy projects and water/wastewater infrastructure projects and concessions.

Ted holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame and an Master’s of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University.
