Andy DeNato, Controller

Andrew (Andy) DeNato is currently the Controller for NorthStar Clean Energy, where he is responsible for the Accounting, Finance, and Budgeting and Planning functions for NorthStar Clean Energy. Andy and his team support corporate level financings, financial audits, and long and short-term financial plans for the company.

Andy has been with NorthStar Clean Energy since 2023 and previously spent over 20 years in progressive financial leadership at Consumers Energy, with experience in SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, FP&A, Accounting and Controllership functions. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Adrian College and is CPA registered in the State of Michigan.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys golf and tennis and cheering for the Detroit Lions.
