The Terms of Use, in connections with the Privacy Statement and Security Statement, govern your use NorthStar’s Site (collectively, the “Terms”).  Capitalized terms used, but not defined herein, shall have the same meaning as in the Privacy Statement.  Please read the Terms carefully to understand our policies and practices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is to not use the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms.

You may be asked to provide certain information to NorthStar.  It is a condition of your use of the Site that all the information you provide on the Site is correct, current, and complete.  You further agree that any information you provide through the Site is governed by the Terms and you consent to all actions we take with respect to your information consistent with the Terms.

Geographic Restriction

NorthStar is based in the State of Michigan the United States. We provide this Site for use only by persons located in the United States. We make no claims that the Site or any of its content is accessible or appropriate outside of the United States. Access to the Site may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Compliance With Laws

Your access to and use of the Site is subject to all applicable international, federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Modification

We may revise and update the Terms at any time. All changes are effective immediately upon posting them.  Your continued use of the Site following the revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.  While we may take steps to inform you of the changes we make, you are also expected check this page from time to time so you are aware of any changes.   If you disagree with the changes to the Terms, you should discontinue your use of the Site.

Limitation

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

Waiver and Severability

No waiver by NorthStar any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of NorthStar to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.

Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
